Lindsay Lohan arrests are hardly breaking news anymore, but she outdid herself this time and was arrested in two states in one day. Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York City early Thursday morning, November 29, 2012, after striking a woman in the face. The woman, sitting in a nearby booth in a nightclub, was not injured, but Lindsay Lohan was arrested for third degree assault, according to MSN.com. A few hours later, she was officially charged with reckless driving and lying to the police in California for a wreck that took place in June, 2012.

Lindsay Lohan has had multiple run-ins with police and several altercations with judges about her compliance with probation requirements. There have been a few brushes with the law in New York that didn’t escalate to anything serious, but the charges in California will almost certainly lead to being charged with violating her probation.

ABC News described her probation woes, quoting the last judge that she faced:

None of the events are likely what the clearly relieved actress anticipated in March when she thanked Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner, who warned the actress that she could face up to 245 days in jail if she violated her probation again.
"You need to live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work," Sautner said.

During one of her last probation assignments, a judge in California assigned Lindsay to duty cleaning the morgue. The shock value the judge hoped for evidently was not effective.

How this latest encounter will affect the future career of Lindsay Lohan is yet to be seen. Her latest project, "Liz and Dick," has not brought the reviews that she had hoped to receive, although her still shots from the movie were undeniably breathtaking. Critics had previously discussed her deteriorating appearance which was allegedly the result of her life in the fast lane.

Socialite and hotel heiress Paris Hilton, who is in India for the second time with her current beau River Viiperi, will perform as a DJ for an on-going fashion event in Goa today.

The 31-year-old is pepped up about her debut visit to the land of beaches and has been updating details of her trip on Twitter. “Having a great time in India. So excited for my Fashion Week party this weekend.” Prior to this, she posted a series of tweets.

“So happy! In Paradise with @RiverViiperi in a beautiful villa on the water. So peaceful here, such a magical feeling. Feel so blessed,” she tweeted. The first thing on her mind after arriving in Goa was, “To get to the hotel to shower and sleep.”

Britney Spears introduced her new puppy Hannah to the Twittersphere Monday.

Just because this season of “The X Factor” is winding down doesn’t mean Britney Spears is ready to hop out of the spotlight just yet.

The singing competition judge caused a flurry of tweets online Monday when she posted a photo of her newly adopted puppy Hannah.

“I want you all to meet my new little baby girl @hannahspears,” she tweeted.

In the accompanying photo, the judge nuzzles the tiny black-and-brown pup.

Spears, 30, even created a Twitter account for Hannah with the tagline “I’m Britney’s b---h.”

On it, “Hannah” retweeted Spears’ welcome message with a few kind words herself.

“Awww, thanks, Mommy - I love you!” the pup wrote from her Twitter account.

Spears responded promptly: “What a sweet little girl – love you too!”

The dog’s Twitter account currently has nearly 7,000 followers.

WITH some reviews from overseas labelling the latest James Bond outing as the greatest ever, my already high expectations for Skyfall were joyously elevated higher.
Daniel Craig had already thrilled me twice in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace and if he did it a third time it would prove beyond a doubt he was no fluke.
In Skyfall Craig is fantastic yet again, but the film overall is far from the mantle of “best ever”.
Is it bad? Absolutely not!
I wasn’t disappointed at all but I did not enjoy it as much as I have others – Craig’s own Casino Royal surpasses Skyfall in favouritism.
In this latest instalment, Bond has to retrieve a stolen hard drive that contains a list of names of NATO agents embedded in terrorist organisations across the world.
After he initially fails and is presumed dead, it is revealed that the theft is part of a bigger attack on MI6 boss M (Judi Dench) and Bond is forced to return and protect her.
We discover the villain is a former MI6 operative and cyberterrorist named Raoul Silvia (Jarvier Bardem) who feels betrayed by M.
Bond and Silvia share many similar qualities and the two try to outwit each other as they fight over the life of the woman who has played a significant role in their lives.

Paris Hilton wants to spread the word of Islam to the world

JEDDAH - Saudi Arabia - Former American socialite, Paris Hilton has converted to Islam, her spokesman, Ian Brinkham, has revealed to CBS news.

She has been toying with the idea for quite a while now and when she was imprisoned at Century Regional Detention Facility in 2007,  she encountered a few people who had already converted," Mr Brinkham said.

By converting to the Muslim faith, Paris Hilton has decided to shun her old life as a celebrity skank.

Speaking from an Islamic study retreat in Jeddah, she said: "I have now found total peace in my life. Before, I used to be known as an STD-ridden streetwalker , a 'hoe' and a person of loose morals, but now, things have changed. Allah be praised."

Hollywood Jihad

Ms Hilton plans to return to Los Angeles next week to start her own Islamic school in the middle of Beverly Hills.

Forget Scientology or Kaballah. This is the religion to be in now. I'm not going to be wearing a piece of red string on my wrist or walk around like a robot talking to Xenu. Islam is the new must-have religion. and I'm going to spread the word of the Koran to everyone," an excited Paris Hilton said.

Paris Hilton also plans to change her name to 'Tahirah' which means 'Pure, chaste' in Arabic. Her Islamic school will open in July and is set to become a popular Hollywood spiritual haunt for many celebrities.

Socialite and hotel heiress Paris Hilton has sparked outrage in the Middle East by opening a new store in Saudi Arabia's Holy city of Mecca.

Saudis took to Twitter to say Hilton, who once starred in a sex video, was 'insulting Mecca' by bringing her business venture to the city.

Hundreds lashed out at the celebrity entrepreneur with their tweets, with some saying it was an 'affront' to the 'principal sanctuary' of Islam.

According to the New York Daily News, one person replied to her message, in which she announced the official opening on her Twitter feed last Thursday, by saying: "R u kidding?".

Another added: "Saudi claim there are other ways to allow for pilgrims, and if religiosity is of such importance, why is Paris Hilton being allowed a store in Mecca?"

A third person tweeted: "How can someone who made such a video open a store in the holy city next to the Grand Mosque?' And a further added: "It is not acceptable to have such a woman open her store here."

But the 31-year-old remained undeterred by the comments and tweeted a picture of the store accompanied by the message: "Loving my beautiful new store that just opened at Mecca Mall in Saudi Arabia!"

She later added: "This is the 5th store in Saudi Arabia, and store number 42 in total! So proud to keep growing my brand!"

Paris Hilton issued an apology Thursday after audio of her making derogatory comments about gay people was posted online.

In the recording, Hilton is heard saying gay people are “disgusting” and “most of them probably have AIDS.”

“Gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people I know,” the socialite said in an apology to GLAAD Thursday. “It is so wrong when people bully or put down others for being gay. No one should have to go through that.”

“As anyone close to me knows, I always have been and always will be a huge supporter of the gay community. I am so sorry and so upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families with the comments heard this morning,” Hilton said. “I was having this private conversation with a friend of mine who is gay and our conversation was in no way towards the entire gay community. It is the last thing that I would ever want to do and I cannot put into words how much I wish I could take back every word.”

“HIV/AIDS can hurt anyone, gay and straight, men and women,” she said. “It’s something I take very seriously and should not have been thrown around in conversation.”

While riding in a New York City cab last week, Hilton and an openly gay friend were talking about a smartphone app Grindr, which allows gay men to meet and hook up.

SAUDI ARABIA - Socialite and hotel heiress Paris Hilton has opened a new shop selling handbags and accessories.

There's just one problem: The shop is located in the Saudi Arabian holy city of Mecca, a key site for the world's 1.2 billion Muslims.

The 31-year-old's past indiscretions, which include drug use and a stint in prison, are well known.

So it was no surprise when her announcement on Twitter last Thursday about the opening of her store sparked outrage through social media channels, the New York Daily News reported.

Saudi citizens slammed Hilton, who once starred in a sex video which went viral, for "insulting Mecca" by opening the branch in Mecca Mall to sell bags and accessories under her name.

They attacked the celebrity entrepreneur through angry tweets, with some saying it was an "affront" to the "principal sanctuary" of Islam.

One person replied to her Twitter message, in which she announced the official opening, by saying: "R u kidding?"
